IF- Wrapped


the drawing I did back on 1998 (?)
think it might suit the topic :)

Let's talk about the technique, it's charcoal with a little color from pencil.

Look at the hands.. I'm not too good with the finger anatomy, though I'm quite happy with how the blanket turn out to be.
And now I don't think I have the patience to do a naturalist portrait
style, let's keep the children style shall we?

And yes - I am no good at drawing fingers.

The face is precious and so well done! And I agree the blanket is perfect. I think the fingers aren't too bad - just the pinky and ring finger are little long. But some babies really do have long fingers - many people are so used to seeing babies with chubby little hands!
