 This one is a 6 y.o. version of the show - Breaking the magician code, how to make yourself diss- a- pear?
Do watch and learn the trick.. >_< ...  just with a little bit imagination and plastic bag. A big one..

Welcoming school holiday

Not yet, but we already make a plan, it would be great to have a to do list,
this is ours:
1. Making a octagon shape ball, from a triangle shape origami. I'll post it as soon as we succeed making it.
2. Teaching Mika to play 'Dampu'
3. Make a terrarium
4. Go to the planetarium, wish us luck, last time we didn't make it, it's full of people and the ticket was sold out! *_*

We love details. It could teach us about patience, patience, and patience heehee..

This was Papa's playthings, it's a little bit dusty and were torn apart here and there, but it still nice to play with it, I think this stuff was the first form of pixel art design :)

Waiting for our caterpillar change into a butterfly, I never thought that it takes a lot of struggle for them to keep on living, from 3 caterpillars only 1 survived to make a chrysalis, I do hope it'll survive

Rain, beautiful Rain

Rain. Means playing outside. Get wet. Jumping and Running.

Rain. Means enjoying the nature, feel the drip and drop of happiness in your face and feet.

Of the days

It is raining everyday, 3 days since we're feeling the warmth of the sun. or 4 days? it just blurred my mind,
funny isn't it , when it's too hot we want the rain to come, and when it's raining we beg for Mr. sun to shine.. well that's what I'm feeling right now :)


:: Still we managed to do some activity, 2 days ago we catch a few bug, and draw it- and it is difficult to draw them, always walking- hopping, and after examine them for a while we set them free- inside the house hehe.., and you know, it is good to see such a little creature hopping inside your house, amazing.. like welcoming in a little guest, and we surely have fun with them :)







:: And do some signature on the cement with charcoal, when it's possible and dry enough

I love this, the kids were introduced to draw in details, they studied flies here, drawing the body, eyes, etc.. etc :)

and about the metamorphosis stage, from eggs to flies, they even have the 'metamorphosis clap',

Last week on 2008

Lumayan sibuk, abis Natalan keluarga, tanggal 26 kita ngeliat
GPMB- GranPrix Marching Band 2008, keponakanku main di Korps Putri Ursula, wueeh asik... Puas teriak2 kayak jaman sekolahan dulu :D

Jojo, kalo baca ini, asli kereen, pantesan latihannya sampe teler, tapi worth it kok, kecil2 cabe rawit kalian ya hehe..

Pulangnya maen ke Taman Anggrek, udah lama ngak ke Mal euy, biasanya suka males aja, abis gitu2 doang, drpd buang2 duit mending ngendon deket2 rumah, tapi kali ini kita ke taman anggrek, cuci mata, refreshing sedikit lah, ada dekorasi yang judulnya Winter Wonderland tapi snowmannya udah jadi abu2 gara2 dipegang2 banyak orang wehehehe.. Sebelumnya sempet ngewanti2 Mika kalo kita ngak akan beli apapun selain makanan, dan berhasil.. :)


:: Dirumah ngapain ya, bongkar2 ngeluarin perbekalan jaman dulu, setumpukan buku2 dari Tintin, Arad Maya, Asterix, dsb dsb.. udah belel, tp yg penting isinya toh?

:: Dan baca2 lagi koleksi Beatrix Potter yang disimpen, lumayan bikin mata sikonyil melotot :)
dan hari ini? Kita mau nungguin kembang api- tentunya dengan kuping tertutup- soalnya berisik kata Mika hehe! Happy New Year!

Little time :)

Now that school has begun it is a little bit difficult for us to find a time to go outdoor and play in the morning, still, we manage to do a little time together

Mika still like to copying what I do, mostly drawing :), and she did a little duckie together with a flowery balloon, this is taken after I have finished my IF entry


















Learning about color combination and shape making. This puzzle pattern things is one of her favorite, making the pattern with different position and many alternatives sure can put her into her own time.. :)


















and Grandma accompany her with such an amazed look, seeing the two generation in one same position is such an interesting objects for me, with many different point of view and so many things to learn from both :)

21 days of creative exercises day 20























Got a loong delay of this creative exercises, guess I'm too busy with all the school holiday prep things, well this is what I doodle on Sunday, one should rest a little bit right? :) We get up at 7.30, Dad not moving until 8.30, I get a cup of coffee, a breakfast in bed and read the newspaper, while Mika playing around with her stuff, I think she might get a little excited about the chance of getting up late,
yes... a lot of laziness in Sunday morning...

Ordinary day part 1

Seperti biasa Mika udah bangun duluan, nungguin orangtuanya yg masih pada 5 watt, dia maen2 dulu dikamar sama guling kesayangannya, lama2 kasian juga akhirnya g ikutan bangun, dia minta main Lego- lungsuran yang baru seminggu dikasi kakak g, segerobak- ehh maksudnya banyak banget- begitu liat langsung berbinar2, bukan cuman anaknya tapi juga emak-bapaknya.. heeheehe..

main2 sebentar sama para anak2 tetangga di kebon depan, sempet ada insiden ketabrak sama salah satu temennya- nangis dong- tp abis itu oke2 aja..

sarapan. roti tawar pake skippy.plus kraft-cetak2an. pertama dibuatin- dimakan kejunya doang. minta cetak orang2annya lagi. sampe 3x. sisa dimakan nyokapnya dong hawr-hawr-hawr.

lego lagi.. ternyata yg paling sering dimainin adalah partnya, bukan rumah2annya. satu2 dicopotin digabung2in. dengan syarat- warnanya ngak boleh ada yg sama.

sejak ada si Lego, g jadi lumayan nguplik maenan satu ini, ampun- canggihnya, ngak abis pikir ngebayangin orang2 yang ngedesainin barang satu ini, kalo ada pabrik Lego disini mau deh gue ekskursi kesono..

Barusan liat kesitenya LEGO, ternyata mereka punya karakter Avatar, Harry Potter, sama sponge bob, buset.. lucu banget!

Got my new camera- yaay!!

After searching for quite sometimes, I choose Sony DSC H7 (prosumer class) well I don't have budget to buy those lovely-droolingly- DSLR camera .. :), it's been 3 days and all I can say is I love it.., buy it online from ek-gadget, I got a 1 G Memory Stick for free - wide smile :D!
I never touch a SLR camera since I graduate from college, so I think it's better to restart from now on, one thing that I might note that, all the images taken seems great :P.. well.. if you compare it with the pocket camera.. (my beloved sony P10) , 1 of my friend seriously made a comment ,"of course it make a difference.. !" haha.. okay! I will make use of the PASM mode, just teach me your kungfu, master!
It's true that the size is quite small, and for the first timer it gave a little difficulties to adjust with, but I think I manage that.. overall I'll recommend it- such a SONY lover am I not?

My new treasure!

This all are my new treasure, buttons, lots and lots of buttons... fabrics, also lots and lots of fabric slice from many colors and prints! My eyes widened as my mom gave it to me.. Dear God has listen to my prayer, now I don't have to go hunting for this, it's all here... ready to be made into something... :D

Hey, I'm new to all of this, so dont expect me to make something 'advanced' hahaha... just this little quilt things beginner made, and I loooveee.. it.... x)

I just do it by hand sew, first because I do not have any sewing machine, second- I love doing it during my time with Mika, hand sewn project can be brought anywhere, anytime, it's just need a lots of consistency- and for me- a lots of practice...:)
