The days of laziness

Hiii... long time no see, I just feel to lazy to write nowadays, still keep up with all the works, I'll tell you about my recent works later.., now I just feel to rest a little bit, tell you what's going on the house lately, we do a lot of game, origami, drawing, and cooking..

• no,I think the box is getting smaller mom - *grumble*..

:: I like to bake lately, with Oma staying with us, it like having a partner to do a lot of things, and you know you can't beat 'experience' in this cooking things :), so why not now.. , and beside of that, internet surely give a lot of chance on the recipe etc, etc, so no excuse anymooooree....

:: Sending Ben the Bear well it's a lot of fun knowing many of my friends are ordering Ben, thank you all, I really appreciate this, and you know what, this 'sending- packing' things improving my finger beeeetter than before, and sorry about the 'messy packing mode' that I've send you friends! Gonna try to be more neat next time.. , I really envy you guys in etsy for making the packing seems so easy and beautiful.. heehe

End of School Year- preschool

This month Mika will be graduate from preschool, and the teacher give us the whole project to look at, I believe it is an amazing experience for every parents to see their children creation, as for me it's like looking at her personal journal of learning and seeing new things everyday.

This is just part of her project, every time she went to school, she drew her expression, maybe her or her friend, I loveee looking at this, it's like having your own sticker with a personal touch from your kid :D..

As for my self it is a privilege for me to be able to work and look at her growth from home. For everything is passing so fast, thanks God for this opportunity.. :')

Of music :)

Lately I don't have any ideas nor energy for crafting, and in time like this we usually do the music things, listen to the radio, dancing like crazy, I means both of us, or the three of us, if dad is not to exhausted from work.. and I dare to say, that music is certainly make me feel better. Sometimes being a work at home mom have it's own issue because of the socialize that you have it only through phone or IM.. yikes!

At these time I really miss my social life with my co-workers, but that doesn't mean I intend to go back to work in the office heehee... we'll just skip that..

Talking about the King, the song is good for daaaancing.. when I say, Mika this is 'blues' music, she said' But it's rather different from the Blues Clues song mom... ;') well it is different.. and I'm getting lost somewhere else just to make this 'blues thing' reasonable for her..


and a little bit of snacks will do, usually I don't pay attention to the small things like this bear biscuit, but today, it's seems so cute.. when I was a kid, biscuit like this is rare, can say it quite expensive, so we use to eat it a little bit- bit- if you know what I mean.. :) just read the Laura Ingalls book, part when they have this Christmas cookies.. it seems sooo precious!

And this morning, what we found in front of our street, a little marching band parade.. niceee :'D

Yellow wreath

Yesterday morning, we woke up and found a lot of kamboja flowers(Plumeria alba) on our frontyard. It looks so beautiful, so we make a wreath from the flowers and hang it on the kamboja tree.

Church Bird and Gummy Bear

left photos: The wreath is quite beautiful for me but Mika think it's more interesting if we could hang something on it.. soo.. we have this tiny cradle with the gummy bear toys, swinging under it...

right photos: Then a few birds coming, it called' church bird' in Indonesia, I don't know the latin names for this birds, but they can be seen all around Indonesia, and nobody shoot or captured them for it is said it brings bad luck if you trying to catch them :'). Good for them.

Time Out 2 !

Soo... instead of doing nothing, I paint my dining table- should I call it dining table cause it's only 80x80 cm :'). But I think the result it's fiiineee.... and I also re-paint my worn dining chair.. . Saving me money and give me relaxation
then we can have tea time on it..

Solar system

Trying to teach Mika about the solar system, it's quite fun.. , btw. talk about the solar system map, the NGI magazine gives the mars review with the mini solar system map last year, since then Mika always wondering about it, and yes, like other kids, the first planet on her mind is Saturn :) . Here is the classic edition of the solar system from NG.

House management everybody?













SOooo.. this is my dear house during playtime with Mika, there's an unfinished dish- toys- 'spiderweb' ribbon tape - etc..etc.., messy? yes, but I think it's still beautiful.. :D
I envy a clean - nice looking house with no dust, no cluttering things everywhere, still I think it's nice to look at, but not to live at... hihi....

Maybe someday I could 'combine' that 2 things perfectly, between a 'pretty' house and ' cozy' one..

Happy Lunar Year!

Imlek kemarin, lumayan seru, semuanya pada ngumpul, paling seneng ngeliat muka anak2 waktu dikasi angpao, kayaknya ngarep2 gitu hehe, dulu waktu SD suka banding2in perolehan angpao sama temen2, dan gua selalu ada diranking bawah, gitu deh.. abis dikeluarga udah ngak ada yg namanya tradisi makan2 waktu malem Imlek (pdhal kayaknya seru lho..), trus yg kumpul2 itu rata2 keluarga inti sama sodara sepupu yg bener2 deket... otomatis target pemberi angpao bisa dihitung dengan jari..

Anyway, gua selalu ngerasa yg namanya kebudayaan itu menarik, anykind of culture :), dan pasti punya satu point plus, dan se-ha-rus-nya dilestarikan, padahal gue sendiri ngak terlalu paham ya hehehe.., sedikitnya ada laah..

Praying Table

Meja ini udah ada sejak jaman emak ku dulu, sampai sekarang, fungsinya ya itu- buat sembahyang- ada laci tariknya- 4 laci, fungsinya buat menaruh makanan yang memang jumlahnya buanyak bener dan kalo pake meja biasa ngak akan cukup, authentically vintage!

Liat tuh ada kue mangkok raksasa (disebelah kanan, yg warna pink) - diameternya sekitar 20 cm :) gede kan.. ?

Hung Pao

Ini dia issue yg selalu ditunggu, kayaknya ditiap perayaan suka ada yg sejenis jenis ini ya, entah berupa kado atau apapun, tp intinya buat dikasih. Nah kalo Imlek, hung pao ini dikasi dengan perlambang supaya anak yg dikasi itu selamet, banyak rejeki.. (lha pasti banyak, wong yg dikasi itu duit.. ). Kalo dulu angpao itu standard bener gambarnya, cuman amplop bergaris merah ditengah, kl sekarang.. Hello Kitty sama Pooh aja bisa ikutan Imlek-an hehehehhee...

Baju Baru- on the way kerumah emak

Biasanya- katanyaaa- harus beli baju baru, tp si Mika pake baju tahun lalu yg masih bagus. Gayanya oriental dikit dikerahnya, and amazingly this dress still fit perfectly.. Nice gown girls!

Fireworks

Ngak tau kenapa, Imlek kemarin banyak sekali kembang api dikompleks, meski pun gerimis, tetap banyak yg keliatan dan kedengeran juga, asiikkk... Gong Xi Gong Xi!

Kincir angin

ini dari gelas aqua di'cutter2', trus dicat- mungkin akrilik atau sejenisnya, bagus euy.. rada2 vintage, yang nemuin ibundaku, ngegeletak dijalan, trus diambil krn dia pikir pasti cucunya suka- dan ternyata memang suka- anaknya juga suka hehe.. tadinya ada gambar Barbienya- trus gue sobek soalnya rada norak.. naah kl plain gini kan lebih cakep.., rencananya ntar polanya mau gue contek biar kl yg ini udah rusak bisa bikin lagi, kl rajin nanti gue posting deeh...

Spoon n Fork Windchime

Nemu dipameran di Ganesha, tau sendiri deh gue paling ngebet kl ada event yang setipe2 dengan pasar seni, nah waktu itu dapet deh yang seperti ini, baguss- dan waktu itu ngak terlalu mahal, sendok garpunya dari kuningan di-penyet... kl kena angin bunyinya 'kling klong' gitu... adem ayem dengernya

Kue mini :D

Kecil banget ukurannya, dari clay sih.. kebayang bikinnya musti pake kaca pembesar kali yee.. sama boneka playmobile aja ukurannya masih segitu, anak gue yang minta beli.. tadinya kepikir busett.. pasti ancur... tp dengan segala effort yg ada dari yg awalnya sekitar 16 pieces sampai sekarang baru berkurang '4' hehehehehee... at least masih ada 'sisanya' kaaan...
